Clear listings. Responsible selling.
Use accurate details, choose the right category, and only list items and services you are entitled to offer.
1. What every listing needs
Use genuine photos, a clear title, an honest description, an accurate location, and a realistic price. Mention material defects or conditions. Do not impersonate another person, post duplicate or misleading ads, or publish private information without permission.
2. Items and content you must not list
To keep ybbly safe and legal, the following may not be listed. Ads that break these rules are removed and repeated violations lead to suspension.
- Weapons and explosives: Firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks in bulk, knives sold as weapons.
- Drugs and medicines: Illegal drugs, prescription-only medicines, steroids, and drug paraphernalia.
- Wildlife and forest produce: Protected animals, animal parts (ivory, skins, horns), restricted timber, sand and forest produce.
- Live animals: Selling live animals that is restricted by law is not allowed. Pets may be added later under strict rules.
- Stolen or illegal goods: Stolen property, items with removed serial numbers or blocked IMEI, counterfeit and pirated goods.
- Documents and identity: Government IDs, Aadhaar/PAN details, forged certificates, SIM cards sold with KYC.
- Alcohol, tobacco, gambling: Alcohol, tobacco and vapes, lottery tickets, betting and gambling services.
- Adult and offensive content: Adult material, escort or sexual services, hate content.
- Human body: Human organs, blood, or anything related to them.
- Scams and misleading ads: Ads that ask for advance payment, token money or registration fees, fake “army officer” sales, unrealistic prices, or bait ads.
3. Professional profiles and services
Describe your services and qualifications accurately. Hold the licences or registrations required for your work. Do not claim that ybbly guarantees your work or has verified you unless your profile actually shows that status. Only publish contact information and photos you have permission to use.
4. Reporting and moderation
This list is not complete. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, do not post it. If you see a prohibited ad, use the “Report this ad” button on the ad page.
